There are a lot of icons synonymous with Seattle: the Space Needle, Pike Place Market, even the band Nirvana - but one tasty icon (almost) stands above the rest: Seattle coffee.
Every day we strive to build the best homes and townhomes in our communities throughout Seattle. Every morning, like you, our team stops by their favorite coffee shops for their morning get-up-and-go. We thought we’d share our picks for the best coffee stops in Seattle.
Andrew: Cone & Steiner Pioneer Square - 135 S King St., Seattle, WA 98104
Why I Love It: “The baristas give my dog a biscuit every time, it’s his favorite stop on our morning walks.”
Rob & Jordan: Milstead Coffee & Co - 754 N 34th St Seattle, WA 98103
Why We Love It:
Rob:” They are the best in Seattle hands down. They put real chocolate in mochas, premium ingredients in basically all their drinks, freshly roasted beans (~within a week) from several amazing roasters-usually local. All of their coffee is an experience, in my opinion. A must try if you enjoy coffee shops.”
Jordan: “My go-to is an Italiano, espresso, and a tiny bit of water. They pull the best shots in Seattle. They rotate which roasters they use from all over the US, and usually have a single-origin espresso as an option.”
Katrina: Market Spice Tea Shop - 85 Pike St Deli, Seattle, WA 98101
Why I Love It: I am one of the odd Seattleites that doesn’t drink coffee. However, I do love tea. I like going to Market Spice tea shop at Pike Place and smelling all the wonderful blends of tea they have. My current favorites are Lemon Spice, Ginger, and Peppermint teas.
Wendy: Coffeemind - 1907 10th Ave W, Seattle, WA 98119
Why I Love It: My favorite coffee by far is Coffeemind in Queen Anne. The Turkish Coffee is strong and full of flavor, and the pastries are AMAZING.
Lisa: Social Ground - 18333 Bothell Way NE #103, Bothell, WA 98011
Michelle: Diva Espresso – Greenwood - 7916 Greenwood Ave N, Seattle, WA 98103
Why I Love It: They’re always friendly, and I love the latte art.
It’s in Every Home We BuildNo matter how many times you do it, buying a new home is always a special occasion. We want you to wake up and have your first cup of coffee on us. That’s why we include a bag of one of our favorite blends and two insulated mugs with our logo as a way of saying, “Welcome to the Blue Fern family!”
A part of building Seattle’s best townhomes is putting them in highly desirable and up-and-coming areas of town. We think living and shopping locally is essential. Local shops, restaurants, and yes - coffee shops are never far from a Blue Fern townhome.
New townhomes in Shoreline, Hillman City, are coming soon. Stay tuned by joining the Blue List and never miss an update. We have one townhome left at 42nd Avenue in Othello. Contact Olivia for more information and to schedule your tour!
